How do I know that diving is right for me?

Almost anyone between the ages of 10 and 80 that is in good health can learn to dive. At Aqua Adventures, we have taught people from nearly every walk of life to dive. Couples, individuals, and families alike all learned to dive. Our expert instruction and relaxed atmosphere make the process both easy and enjoyable.

How much time will I need to dedicate to learning to dive?

The amount of time you spend in learning to dive varies with the individual. Everyone learns at different rates and we take that into consideration during all phases of instruction. All students meet for "Coaching" sessions with their instructors during the course to discuss progress and individual needs.

Where do I get the equipment to dive?

Because Aqua Adventures is a full service diving center, we stock a full selection of diving equipment that is superior in performance and quality. Since scuba diving is an equipment intensive sport, you will need to take a close look at the type of equipment used by sport divers. Your Instructor will offer advise as to any equipment selections you may need or desire.

What happens when I'm finished with my lessons?

After completion of the course, you will be certified to dive anywhere in the world! Most of the graduates of the SSI Dive Program like to take advantage of our regularly scheduled dive activities and vacations, through Off the Wall Travel. Each scheduled activity, whether it is a local dive or an exotic dive vacation to the Caribbean, is headed up by an experienced dive guide.
